South Korea will develop Caspian oil
The negotiations between South Korea and Kazakhstan over the joint development of the oil fields, located in the Kazakhstan Caspian Sea Sector, have been conducted for several years. Last year the Korean side completed the negotiations on the development of one of the promising blocks - Zhambyl. The final version of this agreement was planned to be signed by the end of 2006.
