The establishment of JV, based on OGPP, allows to not only consolidating the relations between Russia and Kazakhstan, but also to let our country promote domestically produced gas to foreign markets. At the same time the sale of natural gas to the domestic market will require the application of market mechanisms, under which the price for natural gas should not go below its cost. Moreover, this matter will solve the issue of gas utilization to carry out the Karachaganak Third Stage development. Benzol production at Atyrau Refinery
3 large projects will be implemented in the coming four years at Atyrau refinery. One of them is the construction of a catalytic reforming unit to produce high-octane petrol and benzol as basic raw material for the petrochemical industry.
